2009 Caregivers Marketplace Deadline!

If you have receipts to submit for The Caregiver’s Marketplace, you need to get those in the mail soon! Receipts from 2009 must be postmarked by January 31.

I spent at least an hour working on mine tonight. I had a total of 29 receipts for 52 packages of diapers–should work out to $39! I can accept a pay rate of $39/hour. :)

Discover Card users

If you have a Discover card, don’t forget to sign up for the 5% Cashback Bonus on Grocery Stores, Restaurants, Movie Theaters and Movie Rentals! It’s good from October through December. This is my favorite bonus category (though I personally think that rotating bonus categories that require explicit sign-ups are kinda silly.)

And if you have them–don’t forget to use the $2 off per transaction coupons for use when you pay with your Discover card! Some areas got $1 off per transaction. I think you can still find a few of them at coupon clipping sites or ebay, but they’re fairly expensive. They expire at the end of next month, and between now and then I am really going to have to start remembering to use them. :)

No coupon inserts this week!

There will be no coupon inserts in this week’s Sunday paper, so there’s no need to go buy them. Well, no need unless you want to actually read the thing, of course!

If you have a subscription, you can put a hold on your account so they won’t deliver one this week and credit you an extra week. I just suspended my subscriptions–no use in paying for a newspaper I’ll just have to throw away!

The Single Check Rebates for July were valid through yesterday, July 25. It’s time to enter your receipts and submit them, if you haven’t done it already! No point in waiting.
