Living better, spending less.
I love the K-Mart coupon booklets. There’s a new one out right now that has some really nice coupons in them.
$1/1 Jergen’s lotion (use it at Walgreen’s this week, where they’re $.99 after RR to get them FREE)
$2/1 Secret (use at Walmart on sample sized–coupon says ANY–for potential $1 overage! Full-sized deodorants are often less than $2 on sale, as well.)
$2/1 Olay body wash (Family Dollar had this for $2.50 last month. I’m not sure if it was a sale or regular price.)
$.50/1 Ragu
Almost all of them are manufacturer’s coupons, but most have the K-Mart logo, so you may encounter problem cashiers who won’t let you use them. The Secret and Olay coupons do not have logos, though, so you shouldn’t have trouble with them anywhere.
If you’re lucky enough to have a K-Mart that still does Super Doubles, these will make for some awesome deals. :) Mine did it two or three times last fall and hasn’t since. I’m just paranoid to wonder if that’s my fault…
Thanks to slickdeals and the blogosphere for this–I can’t remember where I saw it first. My real-life couponing friend is the one who inspired me to actually make a stop at K-Mart to pick one up though!
When I became a stay-at-home-mom, I promised I could save our family money by shopping sales and maybe even using a few coupons. I had no idea what I was getting into. These days, I am on a first-name basis with the cashiers at the local drugstores, I haven't paid for toothpaste or shampoo in over a year and I spend my free time here, helping others do the same. So please, make yourself at home while you learn how to save, and when to spend!

Where did you get the K-Mart coupon booklet. I went to K-Mart and I thought I picked it up but it was just the sale add. Do you have to ask for it?

When I was at our K-Mart last week, I found a stack on the customer service desk (doh, I hear the giant tub of blocks being turned upside down, minutes after I put them away…) on the top of the desk, kind of behind where they keep the sales ads. Last time they had some by the pharmacy window, but I didn’t see any there this time. There was also a stack on the electronics counter.. which was thankfully unattended. :) I am sure there are more throughout the store, but I stopped looking after I found the ones at electronics. I should go back and find more, though.. they’re handy. :) If you can’t fnd them, you could ask and I guess someone will know, but of course they’ll probably just give you one.
