Walgreens has put out a $5/$25 coupon for Thursday-Friday, 7/16-7/17 only.

Print the coupon here.

You can print as many as you want, and use them in separate transactions.  The coupons lately say that they can only be used on the amount after coupons, but my Walgreens always lets me use them on the pre-coupon price.  This will go really well with the Coppertone Sun Care Register Reward deal this week!  Here’s what I’m planning on doing tomorrow:

Buy 2 Coppertone NutraShield products, $10.99 each
Buy something that I want for $3.02 or slightly more (possibly toilet paper.)
Use 2 $5 NutraShield coupons, found on the Coppertone website.
Use $5/$25 coupon
Receive $10 RR (making the sunscreen $.99 each before the $5/$25 coupon–already a good deal!)
Total: everything free, or nearly free, depending on the "something I want".

I think I will also do a similar thing with the Huggies Register Rewards.

Buy 2 Huggies Training pants for $10 each
Buy 3 Listerines for $3 each
Use 2 $2 Huggies coupons, found pretty much everywhere
Use 3 $2 Listerine coupons, found at coupons.com, if you’re in a lucky zip code. (Some only got $1 coupons. I think 90210 might work for a $2 coupon, perhaps..)
Use $5/$25 coupon
Receive $5 Huggies RR and $3 Listerine RR
Submit for Caregivers Marketplace rebate, $1.50 ($0.75 for each Huggies)
Total: $4.50 for two Pull-ups and three Listerines.

That will work out to $2.25 each for the training pants even if you don’t consider the mouthwash.

Anyway, enjoy the coupon!   I’m glad I waited on this week’s shopping!

If one were about to begin couponing, the first scenario would be a fun one to try…
