I think people usually are confused about how I know about all these deals, or how I can put all of it together from a weekly ad. The truth is, I can’t.  Shopping for the best bargains takes a little research time. How much time it takes depends on how serious about it you get.  You can put your own scenarios together from scratch using the weekly ads and deals posted at one of the drugstore forums (try slickdeals drugstore forum or the forums at Hot Coupon World, for example.)

The easiest way is to let someone else write up the very best deals, and use their list as the basis for your own.  There are lots of bloggers who do weekly deal posts for various stores.  This is how I got started, and I still use this method to start my weekly shopping lists.  I’ll copy and paste the relevant post into my shopping list document, and then start erasing things I’m not interested in.  After I’m done with that, I may check out a few more lists and see if there are any differences that I’d like to add.  This isn’t a formal process–just something that happens naturally while reading my bloglist.  Then I’ll check out the forum posts to see what else people have to say about the sales ad. The weekly threads are usually full of information about pricing, scenarios, coupon match-ups, etc.

Anyway, here are some of the best deals for this week. Go make a shopping list!
